22 oz bottle sent to me by alagnak. Labeled as Seven Seas (I just got the reference) Double India Pale Ale - 9% alc/vol. Pour is a cloudy orange copper with a nice one inch creamy white head. Some patchy lacing left behind. Aroma is grassy, resin and mild citrus hops, along with lightly sweet caramel malt. Taste is the toasted caramel malt first, then the nice grassy resin - nice balance and softness in the flavor. The malt is not overly sweet. Hops are pretty subdued compared to the aroma. Palate is medium bodied, nicely un-filtered mouth feel, and a bit of alcohol heat poking through in the dry finish. Nice, though I am sure fresher the flavors pop a lot more on this. Thanks for sending this my way Chris.

Dry Dock IIPA pours a body that is mostly clear yellow with a white head. The aroma is pine and citrus hops. Well balanced with the light bitterness taking the edge overall.

22oz bottle pours a lightly hazy, deep orange with one ring of spitty white head. Nose is peach, hoppy, sweet, oranges. Flavor is sweet, orange, grapefruit, metallic, honey, a touch of flower pollen. Medium bodied, lightly bitter finish. Not outstanding.

Bottle @ Hotelroom, Denver. Pours golden with a creamy white head. Aroma of caramel, biscuit, pine, grapefriut, kiwi and melon. Taste malty caramel, biscuit. grapefruit. Medium body, soft carbonation, bitter finish. Well balanced IIPA, not as hoppy as some, but very enjoyable.280211

Growler courtesy of a traveling beer club member. The beer is a hazy orange-amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Thin rings of lacing. Citrusy hops aroma with some pine and malt notes. Medium body with flavors of grapefruity hops, caramel, earthy malt, and pine. The finish is hoppy with a lingering citrus aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Cask at the brewery - now listed at 8.5% abv - hazy orange - lasting, soapy head - still on the sweet end of the spectrum, but with plenty of earthy hop flavor and bitterness to keep it from being overly so - copious citrus and pineapple flavors make the sweetness more welcome as well - bitterness is strong without being astringent - fairly well crafted and surprisingly non-abrasive for the style.
