Grassy and slightly floral, minimally fruity hoppy aroma, mellow malty background, hints of fresh hay, some yellow stone fruit. Taste is crisp, moderately bitter, grassy-spicy and slightly floral hoppy, slightly fruity as well, mellow malty basis, hints of fresh hay, petals, some yellow stone fruit, apricot, a weak touch of nettle; hop bitterness remains slightly pungent throughout and dominates the lingering, hoppy finish. Slightly oily, watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, soft carbonation. Very clean, nicely hopped, unobtrusive malty basis - enjoyable.

Golden Sud, hergestellt für Josef Langwieser, Fläschchen vom Brauer in Egelsee. - Dunkelgoldgelb, klar. - In der Nase satte exotisch-zitrusfruchtige Hopfung, Grapefruit, Maracuja über rundem hellen Malz. - Antrunk ölig schwer aber nicht übertrieben pampelmusig und grasig hopfenherb. Sattes helles Malz und deutliche Restsüße können sich unter der sehr aromatischen Hopfung kaum entfalten. Milder rezent, vollmundig, tief. Im Abgang knackige zitrusfruchtige und grasige Hopfenbittere. Langer Nachtrunk. - Kernig exotisch gehopftes aber doch rundes Bier, dessen Märzencharakter (malzig) freilich nicht so recht zur Geltung kommt. Trotzdem prima. (13.5.2022.)
