Sampled from a growler at a ratebeer gathering this beer poured a hazy yellow-golden color with a small white head. The aroma was light with fruity and floral hops and had a faint nutty undertone. The flavor was sour, tart and nutty with a lightly fruity hop presence and a touch of caramel. The finish was medium length sour nut. Decent.

Recently had this too, at the RBtasting 2009. On tap at the Marzoni’s in Allison Park near Pittsburgh. Very nice beery aroma, sweet without the hint of alky strongness. Ubiquitous pale yellow color and appearance. Swirling carbonation visible within. Has a very slight haze. Friendly and light on the taste buds after the session begins but during the commencement I thought I had an inkilng of bitterness on the palate. Below avrage carbonation. Good finish, well mannered and not offensive in the least. Not bad Marzoni! Nice session brew even tho it is above 5%, you’d never know it.
