12oz can pours with a crystal clear deep gold body that supports a thin white head of foam. The aroma offers up sweet lagery yeasty notes, a sweet biscuit malt sensation and then slight corn flakes. The taste has a nice lagery sweetness where mild levels of sweet apple and pear are noticed before it heads into a blend of maybe Pils or kind of a biscuit like maltiness and vaguely Noble hop bitterness. The corn flavors well up into the after taste. All in all I like this. It isn’t too sweet and isn’t over carbonated and provides a decent level of hoppiness and it tries to be crisp and snappy. I can be in the mood to try this again, maybe. So I see 15 IBU’s on a web search for this. Seems my palate can’t find hops under 50. All 15 IBU are on full display here.
