Poured up on tap at the Chandler, AZ location where it exhibits a clear copper to amber colored body that supports a lasting yet weak dirty white head. The aroma offers up full force whiskey booziness with only thin "beer" notes that seem vaguely sweet, malty and fruity ester like. The taste is similar as the barrel treatment crushes what beer notes there are. It gets a bit hot with booze to midway just as faint brown sugar coated plums are noticed. This has far too much barrel character. This could be almost any beer that went into the barrel.
