Bottle sample at a tasting at Max's place. Thanks Lior. Clear amber. Weird fruitiness, malt, minerals, yeast, sweetish, faint bitterish note.

Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a tulip glass. Brilliant copper colour, good frothy off-white head, dissipating quickly (alas), light lacing. Aroma roasted malts, caramel, raisins, dates, herbal notes, some liquorice, alcohol notes. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, dark fruits, light liquorice, toffee, overripe fruit notes, herbal notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, sweetbitter aftertaste, malty backbone, fruity notes, light herbal notes, bit alcohol in the finish, nice.

Picked this one up during a visit to France. Poured clear amber colour with a modest off-white head. Aroma of herb, malt, caramel, and touch of honey. Fairly heavy sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Not great.

Nasmaak is iets bitter. Drinkt lekker weg.

Bottle shared by Joep van Wezel, tasted with Inoven, Batch, HilligvG.

Reddish beer with a thin head and a scent of tangy fruit, hop and a touch of caramel. Fruity, hoppy, there’s malt coming through but the worrying thing is it doesn’t taste as strong as it is! You could easily guzzle a few of these before you realised what you were doing!
