Bottiglia. Al naso arrivano indizi di frutta disidratata, orzo tostato e caramello. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e il modo in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il mantello birroso superiore color caffelatte resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. Il liquido si presenta velato. Il colore è ambrato rossiccio carico tendente marrone. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è nella media. La forza gustativa è elevata e la persistenza è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Sul palato si riportano sentori di zuccherino, caramello, miele, crosta di pane, biscotto, cioccolato al latte, frutta secca, pane tostato, agrumi, fico e pesca bianca.

bottiglia 50 cl, bel cappello di schiuma beige fine persistente, colore ambrato carico/rosso limpido, al naso frutta matura caramello miele, in bocca malto frutta secca miele prugna uvetta sotto spirito, corpo medio, carbonazione moderata, oily, alcool perfettamente bilanciato dall’elevata dolcezza, amaro moderato. Molto buona ma anche questa manca un po' di raffinatezza. c. Fatti una birra 15.05.21

Bottle, 500 ml, shared with Max, Miro B and JFK10000. Dark brown with tan head. Malty, caramel, cocoa, medium sweetness. Bit spicy. Low carbonation. Medium bodied.

Draught @ Bir & Fud, Rome. Pours cloudy datk copper brown with airy beige head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with fruity and estery notes. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt and yeast, with botter notes of jops and spices. Botter, ab ittle boozy aftertaste with malty and eatery notes. Decent

Tap at Luppolo Station in Rome. Chestnut skin color with caramel highlights, orangey foam. Nose: chestnut honey and wet wood. Mouth: caramel, toasty maltiness, raw malty notes. Firm character.

Dec. ’16. On tap at Birra+, Rome. Chalkboard claimed 8.8% ABV. It poured a hazy darker copper-brown body with medium sized lightly yellow head. Lots of caramel in aroma, some nuts, lightly stale and grainy like hay and bread. Flavor was lightly to moderately sweet, with caramel, cocoa, biscuit and wood like mahogany. Medium to full body with alcohol notable but well handled for the style. Longer sweet malty and warming finish. Quite balanced doppelbock, with cocoa as a pleasantly peculiar addition. Good job Mukkeller once again!
