Draught @ [ DOE - Olfestival Kobenhavn 2013 ] @ Tap1, Ny Carlsbergvej 91, 1760 Copenhagen, Denmark.Clear dark black colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, burnt, chocolate, wood, vanilla. Flavour is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, wood, vanilla, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic - boozy. [20130523]

Draft @ DØE Ølfestival 2013. Pours a black color with a tan head. Has a roasted malty vanilla chocolate aroma. Roasted malty vanilla flavor with hints of chocolate. Has a roasted malty vanilla and chocolate finish.

Draught at ØK 13. Tan-coloured head dissipating. Prominent aroma of dark vanilla. Vanilla, oak and dark malts over the tongue leading to a stream of roasted maltiness down the swallow. Sweet, velvety and warming to the palate. Nice sipper (Copenhagen, 24.05.2013).

DØE. Black with a dark brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, vanilla and alcohol. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish with heavy alcohol. 230513

Draught@CPH BF 2013. Black colour, not much head. Aroma is vanilla, some toffee, liquorice and mild alcohol. Flavour is rather similar, but the boozy notes are totally dominating and quite much ruining the maximum enjoyability of the beer.
