The original flagship beer of the Anheuser-Busch Brewing Association, St. Louis Lager won gold medals at the 1876, 1878, and 1883 World's Fairs. The beer was discontinued in 1906 as the popularity of Anheuser-Busch's other beer, Budweiser, took off. Going back to the archives, A-B's Research Pilot Brewery brewed St Louis Lager again for the first time in 115 years

Brewery draught, 1/17/25.
Clear honey. Small, white head.
A bit of corn or something, fairly innocuous. Maybe a hint of DMS, though there shouldn't be. Otherwise quite malty and no syrup or acetaldehyde.
Malty, reasonably dry. Some annoying DMS or something like that, which is a shame as this is otherwise nearly a good beer. Very low, almost non-existent hopping.
