Gravity dispense at Craft 100, 06/10/16. Pitch black topped with a dirty tan swirl. Nose is rich fruit, spice, vanilla, sweet chocolate exhaust. Taste comprises black forest gateaux, vanilla essence, chocolate, light coffee notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent flavoursome stout.

Tap at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin broken light tan head. The aroma is big creamy caramel, chocolate, vanilla, light dry coffee. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich roasty liqourice, light floral hop palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Keg from the Electric Bear Brewery Tap, Bath Friday 22nd April 2016 Dark chestnut brown in colour with a reddy glint, I am getting some hazelnut on the nose, Loz says I am mistaken and it is just lots of coffee and caramel, it’s also a little milky cappuccino and chocolate as well. A bit in yer face and if I had one criticism it could seem a little artificial i.e. syrupy, however I like it, the flavour is a bit full on and you couldn’t drink lots. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8
