Appearance - 7 | Aroma - 6.5 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 7 | Overall - 7
Handpull cask at the Blue Boar, Leicester. Light brown and clear with a sizeable buff head. Grainy aroma, light malt notes. Sweet taste with a sour bitterness near the finish. Chocolate malt, a hint of white pepper. Not the most exciting mild but certainly damn competent.

Dark mahogany brown topped with a lasting beige cap.
Nose is raisins, dark malts, dried fruit rinds, toffee.
Taste comprises biscuit, dried fruits, toffee, grains, stewed fruits.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close.
Tidy mild.
