Tap at Tir Na n-Og. Sweet, aroma is boozy, yeasty, not so Belgian, but cakey, maybe quad like aroma. Taste is sweet again, cakey again, not so hoppy. Feel the booze further down. Apples. Dough. Interesting, but not sure about it.

Tap at the rebranded Taigu. The food here now focuses on burgers. Lightly cloudy gold with an eggshell white head of foam. Yeasty, grainy, breads sweet honey aroma. Surprisingly light and soft in the mouth. It goes down smooth with lots of bready notes, stone fruits and some crisp herbal hops notes. A clean beer and a good example of a strong golden ale. Maybe I shouldn’t have ordered a 9% beer with lunch though... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Naka-Meguro Taproom spring 2014. Served in a tulip. Hazy orange with a small off-white head. Big aromas of apple, peach and pear with a hint of corriander. Sweet and dry on the palate with a bit of pepper. Spritzy and refreshing with alcohol noticeable on the finish. Keg at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014, red session. 03/05/2014. Golden orange coloured pour with a light white fluffy head. Aroma is honey, lewather and light smoke. Flavour isclean, caramel and nutty malt. Palate is somewhat thin, semi-sweet. Pretty boring tbh./

Draught @ CBC 2013 [ Red Session ]. - Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013, Sparta Hallen, Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads 11, 2100 Copenhagen, DenmarkClear medium orange colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, moderate hoppy, earthy, light to moderate yeasty, spicy. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130504]
