Draught @ [ DOE - Olfestival Kobenhavn 2013 ] @ Tap1, Ny Carlsbergvej 91, 1760 Copenhagen, Denmark.Clear dark black brown colour with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, coffee, sugary malt, strong coffee, brown sugar, dusty coffee, coffee grounds. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, coffee bitter, sugary coffee sweet. Body is medium, texture is creamy - syrupy, carbonation is flat. [20130523]

100ml of this heavy stuff shared with saxo at Ølfestival Copenhagen 13. Devil-black body colour. Shiny, naked surface. Rich aroma of coffee grounds. Taste of creamy, dark coffee that turned into dark chocolate towards the ending. Warming and roasted. Heavy, but very good (Copenhagen, 24.05.2013).

DØE. Black with a small dark brown head. Aroma is roasted malt and heavy coffee. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and roasted rather bitter finish. 230513

Draft @ Malmö Öl & Whisky Festival. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty fresh coffee aroma. Roasted malty strong coffee flavor. Has a roasted malty strong coffee finish.

Tap @ DØE. Almost black with small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate and strong coffee. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, strong coffee, espresso, sweet and medium bitter.

Draft. A black beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of coffee and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, coffee, and chocolate, leading to a dry finish.

Draught@CPH BF 2013. Pitch black colour, no head. Aroma is coffee, mild roasted notes with very strong "next day cold black coffee" notes. Flavour is coffee, alcohol, mild berries, spices and some roasted maltyness to it. Somehow this one wasn’t quite as boozy as many of Stronzo’s other 15+ % beers on the festival.

Sample @ DØE. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, coffee, vegetables and hops.

Draught. Distinct coffee aroma. Black colour. Small stable brown head. The flavour is very sweet, jammy with a good amount of real coffee.
