Backlog. From tap at Danske Ølentusiasters Ølfestival 2013 with JMD. Black. Dark brown head, Aroma of sweet coffee and chocolate. Wonderful taste. Smooth!

Sample at Stockholm Beer and Whiskey Festival 2013. Opaque black liquid with deep brown head. Aroma of coffee, wood, ash, coffee, licorice, chocolate, coffee, sweet booze, coffee, dark fruit and espresso. Taste is light to medium sweet and light biter with notes of coffee, oak, chocolate and ash. Full bodied with low carbonation. Insane amounts of coffee in this one.

Sample at SBWF 2013. Reallly black with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, oak, coffee and wood. Similar taste. Really powerful and with a long aftertaste.

Draught @ [ DOE - Olfestival Kobenhavn 2013 ] @ Tap1, Ny Carlsbergvej 91, 1760 Copenhagen, Denmark.Dark black brown colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, burnt, chocolate, coffee - espreso, wood, alcohol. Flavour is light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, wood - oak, alcohol, roasted, coffee, malt bitter. Body is medium to full, texture is creamy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. [20130523]

Draft @ DØE Ølfestival 2013. Pours a black color with a tan head. Has a roasted malty woody chocolate and coffee aroma. Roasted malty woody coffee and chocolate flavor with weak hints of smoke. Has a roasted malty woody strong coffee and chocolate finish.

Fra fat på Tap1 mai-13: en verdig konkurrent til den legendariske Beer Geek Breakfast. Aromaen åpner for det som kommer - en imponerende fylde kombinert med en silkemyk smak. Som et kjærtegn på kinnet. 5cl ga meg en salig stund.

DØE. Black with a big dark brown head. Aroma is dry, roasted malt, heavy coffee, wood and alcohol. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. 230513

Draught@CPH BF 2013. Pitch black colour with a brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, strong espresso, fudge and caramel. Flavour is wood, very sweet alcohol liquorice and some old black cold coffee. A bit too boozy.
