Cask, Pint at the Grill, Aberdeen. It pours clear golden - amber with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, zingy, zesty, grapefruit, lemon, pomelo, bready malt base, biscuit and nuttiness. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, pleasing woody bitterness, pithy, zesty, lemon peel, grapefruit, some pine needles, waxy citrus peel, dull toffee, earth, toasted nut and some peppery spice with a drying, woody and zesty finish. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Nice citrus hops and bitterness, with a robust malt base. Decent.
