Escape the pace of daily life and make your way onto the beach for a tropical getaway.
Juicy, creamy pineapple puree and tangy grapefruit juice take you on a journey far away from mundanity. This zesty concoction pairs perfectly with its refreshing pale ale base, hopped with Amarillo & Citra.

Can from Lidl. It pours hazy bright yellow with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, juicy, bright, ripe pineapple, lilt, grapefruit, pomelo and lemonade. The taste is soft, bitter - sweet, juicy, bright, tropical fruit punch, pithy, zesty, grapefruit, pomelo, lilt, touch green, grassy and some floral accents with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Soft, fruity and chuggable.

Can from The Black Toad. Appearance - orange and cloudy with a decent white head. Nose - the combination of grapefruit and pineapple seems to have melded into orange juice. Of course, it also is reminiscent of Lilt. Taste - orange and pineapple up front, then pink grapefruit that culminates in grapefruit zest and pith. Palate - close to medium bodied, creamy middle and dry, zesty and pith finish. Overall - enjoyed this, but don't like that I like it, because of the blatant use of adjuncts.
