Cask, handpull at The Grill, Aberdeen. The aroma is bitter - sweet, crisp digestive biscuits, melon, gooseberry crumble, white grape, poached pear, tangy lemon & lime and a touch of wood. The taste is is firmly dry, pleasing bitterness which builds and lingers, citrus twang, pithy, zesty, grapefruit, lemon - lime, spicy, biscuity malt, some green fruits, melon and gooseberry with a dry, woody finish with long legs. Medium body and moderate, fluffy cask carbonation. One of the best Spey valley offerings I've had in a while. Fairly robust malt base with an interesting hop combo.
