Our second release has also taken our incredible base stout, brewed with 8 malts and sugars, and amped it up to 11. Sweet, dark winter fruits, caramel and jammy flavours and aromas all sing in harmony.

We've sloshed a whole 200 litres of this into an insanely intense Islay whisky cask which previously had bourbon inside. Massive peaty and smokey flavours and aromas abound in this beer - like a fine cigar and a whisky in one delicious drink.

This beer would not be possible without our "Famity" crowdfund where we turned to our community to support our growth and they answered us in spades.

Bottle shared by my bro, cheers Mark! It pours near black with a small beige head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, bitter - sweet, big hit of Islay whisky, peaty, medicinal, vanilla, toasted marshmallow, rocky road, caramel, mars bar and toffee crisp. The taste is dry, dark roasted malt, lighter than expected... bitter - sweet, a touch of acidity, burnt toast, whisky soaked oak, charred, bonfire, medicinal, toasted spice, jammy, dried fruits, fig, toasted fruit cake and just a hint of alcohol with dry, toasty finish. Medium body and fine, but supporting carbonation. Lovely aroma, but taste is a touch thinner/tangy than expected. Fun stuff anyhow.
