Draught @ [ DOE - Olfestival Kobenhavn 2013 ] @ Tap1, Ny Carlsbergvej 91, 1760 Copenhagen, Denmark.Clear dark black colour with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, chocolate, coffee, wood, alcohol, cheery. Flavour is heavy sweet, light acidic and moderate bitter with a long duration, tart berry - sour cherry, bitter, cherry, roasted, smoke, sulfur. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. [20130523]

Draft @ DØE Ølfestival 2013. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty cherry and chocolate aroma. Roasted malty sour tart cherry flavor with hints of chocolate. Has a roasted malty tart cherry and chocolate finish.

DØE. Black with a big dark brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, whisky and cherries. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter finish with lots of alcohol. 230513

Tap @ DØE. Black with small dark brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, liquorice and notes of alcohol. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, cherries, smoke, little acid, liquorice medium sweet with notes of alcohol.

Draught@CPH BF 2013. Pitch black colour, mediumsized reddish brown head. Aroma is smoked wood, tar, some mild cherries and also a bit of alcohol sweetness. Flavour is cherry, harsh wood and alcohol and quite sweet, but still somewhat of a balance.

Sample @ DØE. Huge head with excellent duration. Color is black. aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, fruits, cherries, caramel and hops.

Draft. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of iodine, roasted malt, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of cherries, roasted malt, chocolate, smoke, and iodine, leading to a dry finish where the iodine note lingers. Intense, drink only a small volume.

From tap. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is dense roasted malty and tarish. Citric and tarish. Cherry citric and dry tarish finish.

Draught. Bike workshop aroma, oil and burnt rubber. Black colour, seems cloudy. Citric flavour with burnt rubber. Very sweet, very citric, lots of burnt rubber. Shocking and interesting, but not my thing.
