(Bottle, 0.355 l, at Oluttupa Viisi Penniä, 20130112) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized, long lasting and lightly brown. Aroma had roasted malts, chocolate, coffee with milk and chocolate. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were roasted malts, cough mixture, sweetness, ash, chocolate and bitterness. Aftertaste had dark chocolate, roasted malts and bitterness. The taste was a bit weird but the aroma was great.

Bottle. Black beer with a light head. The aroma is sweetly roasted, and the flavour is lightly roasted and bitter with some sweetness. Overall a reasonable quite mild stout with some sweetness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from The Ale House, Chelmsford. Pours black, nice head, milky chocolate aroma. Quite thick and creamy, easy drinking and sweet. Enjoyed after work whilst awaiting train home and wish I’d had time for more.

35,5 cl bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu
Aroma has cocoa, sugar and some milk chocolate - and an essence-like feeling. Flavour has lots of milk chocolate, some cocoa and a harsh finish with coffee. Becomes a bit sticky towards the end of the glass. Good for this ABV.

(Bottle, Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Black colour with almost no head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of black coffee, dark chocolate, ashes and dried fruit. Malty, slightly roasted taste with caramel, chocolate, dark fruit, molasses and a gentle bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Decent but fairly dull. Must say I expected more.

Draught @ SBWF’12

Pours pitch black with a tiny head. Aroma of roasty malts, chocolate, hints of spices and rye. Taste is slightly roasty and malty with notes of rye, chocolate and coffee. Finish is sweetish and toasty with hints of rye and chocolate. Okay, a bit unbalanced stout.
