Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Hazy and opaque golden with a creamy off-white head. Fresh and citrusy hop aroma with a flowery whiff also, but also yeast and phenols. Full-bodied, a little low in carbonation with lots of fruity accents. Quite a hoppy finish. 290509

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of sweet malt and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and yeast as well as light notes of yeast, leading to a dry and spicy finish. Thanks fiulijn for sharing.

Bottle for A Tutta Birra, Milan, in 2008
an experimental brew made before the better known Contessa IPA

Not only the bottle is old, but it has been shaken, so the beer pour a cloudy orange color, with a medium creamy head. The aroma shows at first some of the age, but then the nice fruity hops appear, not too strong. It has a medium body, with a good caramel flavor, probably a bit drier than it was one year ago; strong bitterness, with at best some bitter oranges, but it must have lost the freshness, and it pays it in the final. A pleasant beer anyway.
