We just couldn’t help ourselves on this one! We took our 85|Triple and amped it up even further; making a keg from our batch and adding a load of fresh Lychee puree! This brings it’s ABV up to 13% and adding a layer of unmistakable fruit character. While we were there, we couldn’t help adding yet more hops, this time Mosaic for even more holiday cheer!

BBN tap room, keg. Almost cloudy gold beer, thin and short lived off white head. Palate is pretty light for this hefty abv it's mildly dry and has decent fine carbonation. Thin but sweetish malts do a good job of supporting the big spicy hope that also bring a little hop burn. Piney and juicy citrus, tangerine, orange and a little grapefruit,. trace pineapple and the well judged touch of lychee blends in well. Some citric peel near the finish which is semi dry and brings a whiplash of hop sting. Nice job, very nice, slightly thin and dry but properly Holly and delivering a complex hop fruit array and plenty of hop kick. Most importantly, considering the abv, so very drinkable.

Keg at the brewery taproom. A milky yellow gold coloured pour with a fading white head. Aroma is super juicy, mango, Lychee, spicy citrus, alcohol, pithy citrus. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, tart juicy fruits, oily, pithy citrus lemon, green mango, alcohol bite. Hides the alcohol reasonably well. Palate is sticky, viscous, alcohol warmth, pissy citrus, citrus oils. Big and bold.

Keg at #Arch, 06/12/19. Hazed yellow with a moderate off white head. Nose is sweet malts, papaya, resinous hops, mango flesh, ripe melon. Taste comprises sweet tropical fruits, underlying bitterness, lychee, pulped mango, pine resin, nectarine, orange pith. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy resinous hop bitterness. Solid stuff and drinks easy for the ABV ... good balance ... not super sweet and sticky.
