A light pale ale, around 3% abv. Malted barley and rolled oats. First batch brewed in 2012, as an attempt to create a low-alcohol beer which did not suffer from being thin-bodied or lacking in character. Like our pale ales, hop aromas are the focus, with bitterness in balance.

Bottle. Waitrose. Hazed straw gold. Good solid Kernel swede. Nose has pithy lemon. Peach stone. Straw. Light oats. Take is pretty dry and solid on the bitterness. Whisper of sweetness. Drinks light clean and refreshing. Dry and bitter finish. Impressive gear at just 3%.

On tap at The Green Goddess, Blackheath Royal Standard.
Hazy gold pour with a white head. Tropical fruit & citrus aromas, quite floral. Taste is grapefruit, lime, passionfruit. Sharp hoppy aftertaste.
