Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a hazy copper body that supports a tan head that leaves behind some sheet lacing. The aroma offers up apple, cinnamon and brown sugar that hangs around until the end of the draw. The taste delivers sweetness in the form of ripe honey drizzled apples, pears, brown sugar and a flash of vanilla. Behind the sweet notes lurks cinnamon spice and a yeasty sensation. This is a little on the sweet side but so far it’s working. The brown sugar, apple and cinnamon are a nice mix creating a baked apple pie like flavor.
