Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a lightly hazed pure gold body that supports a bright white head. The aroma offers up fresh cucumber that has a watermelon skin sensation somehow. That works though. Another pull brings up soft ginger and then the citrusy lemon notes flowing into tartness and a soft wheat blend toward the end of the draw. The taste hits with crisp refreshing tartness that ramps up to just short of puckering to midway as the saltiness hits. Behind those notes is a pleasing level of cucumber that adds to the refreshment. The lemon pairs up with the yeasty tartness to add an acidic edge. Well off in the background the ginger spice can be noticed from time to time. This is a solid refreshing brew that you don’t want to ever stop drinking.
