32oz growler pours with a near clear deep gold body that has thin copper hues and supports a light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up floral, sweetened earthy spiciness, a woody sensation, a bit of black pepper and then more floral mixed with ginger and mint at the end of the draw. The taste delivers fun Azacca hoppiness with herbal notes, thin fruity jalapeno meat, floral flowery notes, grassiness and then kind of pepper and earthy spiciness. The hops are bitter but also have modest flavor going on as well. To midway it becomes more and more floral but not to the point of being too much. Into the finish I get earthy tea and faint candied Hatch Chili peppers. Really cool hop and seemingly different this season than the beers that have featured this hop in the past few years. Fun beer.
