Bottle 0,33ltr: Opaque dark brown colored brew with an quite dry bitter taste, hints of roasted malts, caramel, chocolate and liquorice.

Black with thin creamy head. Aroma and flavour have a bit of liquorice. Lots of lingering roasted malts and some dark chocolate. Smooth texture.

Gedronken tijdens Bierfestival in Den Bosch. Donkerbruin bier met matig schuim. Aroma en smaak van koffie en donker fruit. Weinig nasmaak.

Geprobeerd met Inoven en Benzai op het Nederlands Speciaalbier festival in den Bosch. Het is een donkerbruin bier met een crème schuim. Het heeft een moutige geur. De smaak is gebrand, koffie en wat kruidig.

Draft @ Arendsnest. Pitch black color. Dense beige head with reasonable retention and good lacing. Aroma's: roasted malt, umami, drop/licorice. Retronasal it's roasted, coffee, hint of red fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet, roasted-moderate bitter, dark chocolate. Medium bodied, quite full actually. Long finish with drop, light moderate bitter. Very good.

Bottle at Gekke Geit. Bit hazy dark brown with beige head. Sweet nuts, cocoa, soft dry herbs, cola, roast, sweet malts, light dry mineral notes. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bitter with soft but fizzy carbonation.

7 3 7 3 14 Bottle at Gekke Geit. Dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roast, caramel, licorice and overripe dark fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet and heavy bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled @ NL Speciaalbier Festival Den Bosch 2017. Opaque brown to black color, medium sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, roasted and slightly burnt malts, caramel, medium bitterness. Decent body and carbonation. Decent. 7-3-7-3-13=3.3. --- Draught @ Tilburg Bierfestival 2017. Opaque murky brownish color, average sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, brown malts, slightly burnt malts, slight coffee, malt bitter, brown malt bitter. Earthy a bit as well. I like it. Better than last time. 7-3-7-3-15 = 3.5.
