Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a deep dark looking body that supports a light mocha colored head. The aroma offers up big dark roastiness, some burnt malts, inviting dark chocolate, dark roasted coffee and some molasses covered coconut. The taste is smooth and a bit silky with malts and molasses sweetened dark roasted coffee flowing into a blend of chocolate, dark chocolate and thin nearly burnt maltiness. It gets sweeter to midway as the coffee takes on a brief rich oily sensation. Solid.
