Can (12/17/24--10.3% ABV) from Table and Vine, W. Springfield. Lightly hazy reddish-dark brown with tons of sparkle, thin head with good retention and nice webs of lacing. Aroma is strong caramel, bubblegum, banana bread and milder cherry. Taste is strong caramel, milder fruits than aroma but there, especially as it warms. Smooth texture, average carbonation and sweet finish as taste. Taste doesn't quite live up to aroma but still quite good.

Thanks to my buddy DK for putting bag of beer together for me a few years back then when plan fell through holding onto until now. Judging by ratings age ha adorn this beer well. Pours dark mohagenney small head. Nose is dark fruits and tobacco. Tastes of plums, dark cherry, fig, tobacco, brandy. Smooth palate. Not at all cloying.

Pours murky mahogany into a Trappist glass. White head with little retention recedes to skim surface. Dusty chocolate covered pit fruit aromas. Thick with dark caramel, cloying treacle and sour overripe pit fruit. nope.

22oz bottle pours a murky purple with a ring of white head. Nose has prunes, a little cake icing, clove, plum, fruit cake. Flavor is sweet, candy, clove, dates, plums, some pepper, yeast, booze, a bit medicinal. Full bodied, sticky finish.
