Bottle. Color: Black, thin brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, beechwood, subtle smoked fish. Taste: Roasted malt, smoked fish, beechwood, salty notes, combined with subtle Whiskey notes. Moderate sweet and salty, light bitterness. Full body, below average carbonation. Nice.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Peated whiskey with ash, roast, dark chocolate, salty liquorice, alcohol. Moderate sweet, some warming booze in the finish. Medium to full body. Could be a bit more full, but other than that very nicely barrel aged, aroma stands out.

Chocolade, cacao, turf, gerookt, whisky, zoet, alcoholisch, sterk, maar er zit ook geen balans in, soms is de hoeveelheid alcohol gewoon teveel en dit doet het bier geen goed, te dun ook om die enorme hoeveelheid aan alcohol te dragen

Black with a short tan head. Aroma of peated wood. Flavour is ash, dark fruits, thick scotch treacle, tangy whisky finish.
