Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear brown with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has sweet dark grains with light earthy roast and a bit of oyster underlying. Flavor has sweet grains and cookie with a bit of umami and light roast backing.

Draught. Jet black with a cream head. Aroma of roast malt and a hint of oyster. Flavour is burnt malt, a little licorice, dry ash base.
