Draft. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and alcohol.

Draught @ [ DOE - Olfestival Kobenhavn 2013 ] @ Tap1, Ny Carlsbergvej 91, 1760 Copenhagen, Denmark.Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, bread, roasted, sweet malt. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, dark roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130523]

Draft @ DØE Ølfestival 2013. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma. Roasted malty chocolate flavor with weak milky hints. Has a roasted malty chocolate finish.

Draught@CPH BF 2013. More or less pitch black colour, with a small beigeish brown foamy head. Aroma is toffee, mild roasted notes, some saccharine like sweetness. Flavour is fruity, roasted, syrupy with some caramel and mild liquorice. Quite nicely balanced.

Draught at KØ13. Salt liquorice aroma. Black colour. Good stable creamy brown head. The flavour is roasted, not as sweet as expected. Creamy mouthfeel. Liquorice finish, dry with roasted coffee.

From tap. Pours hazy brown to black with a small tan head. Roasted malty, breadish and liqourice. Toffee malty, liqourice and dark roasted chocolate. Breadish, mild acidic note. Roasted and dry bitter finish.

DØE. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate and lacto. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, lacto, medium sweet, hop and a little bitter.
