Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a dark mahogany colored body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up largely smooth inviting bourbon and thin vanilla notes flowing into a dark fruit candy sensation. The taste delivers similar notes with bourbon well forward of the beer notes and getting into muted oak and some vanilla. In the background are thin ribbons of chocolate and dark roasted malts.
