22oz bomber pours with a mahogany colored body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up molasses, a bit of nuttiness, sweet prunes, booze and a bit of boozy and raisin toward the end of the draw. The taste delivers smooth sweet molasses and then some prunes and brown sugar. Toward the finish there's a mild pleasing earthy tea note that surfaces. Pretty dang solid. Great sipper.

Sample at Denver Rare Beer Tasting VI on 10/03/2014. Pours a dark amber/copper color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, hops and dark fruit. Full-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, piney hops and fruit. The finish is rich and sweet with a lingering malty aftertaste. Above average overall.
