Cask at Cask. Amber coloured with frothy off-white head. Aroma is booze, sweet maltiness. Taste is bit boozy, honey, sweet malts, some fruit, apples, bit of spice, but mainly sweet. Slightly smoky and spicy. Interesting but not so easy to drink. Pretty thick.

Keg. Reddish-amber. Bubbly head. Subtle lychee and melon aroma. There’s a lot of light crystal, and a fair bit of hop bitterness, with strong alcohol in the finish too. But the hops are fun, melony and interesting.

Draught @ CBC2013. Pours hazy reddish golden with a creamy off-white head that slowly dissipates while leaving lots of trace and lacing on the glass. Smell is malty, fruity and floral with crackers, biscuits, mango, papaya, pineapple, grapefruit juice, moist green herbs, sweet dark bread, toffee, alcohol, lemon balm, lemon zest and orange zest. Taste is slightly sweet, bitter, fruity, herbal and floral with crackers, biscuits, toffee, alcohol, moist green herbs, grass, pine needles, grapefruit juice, tropical fruit smoothie, lemon zest, orange zest and caramel. Mouthfeel is round, astringent, tiny boozy and medium to full bodied. Finish is tiny sweet, bitter, fruity, floral and herbal with biscuits, caramel, alcohol, grapefruit juice, tropical fruits, moist green herbs, grapefruit rinds, lemon zest, grass, pine needles and alcohol. DIPA-esque, nicely done...

Half pint, cask at Vintage. Fawn-coloured head, firm amount of lacework. Brown coloured body with a reddish shade. Malt-fruity nose. Spiced fruity and juicy malty flavours promoting a marmalade impression. Bittersweet ending. Mediuem to full bodied. Nice, rather heavy to drink though (Leith 11.08.2013).

Cask at the Craft Beer Co 2nd Birthday Bash - 29/06/13. Lightly hazed golden amber with a medium size off white head. Nose is hops, burnt sugars, caramel, boozey, grapefruit, bitter orange. Taste comprises a booze soaked tropical fruit sundae, caramel, brown sugar, orange pith, big hoppy backbone, toffee fudge. Full bodied, soft carbonation, light booze and sweet in the finish. Great hopped up barley wine which worked really well via cask dispense!
