Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a near clear deep amber to rutty ruby red colored body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up prunes, some roasted malts, chocolate malts and then light cinnamon and nutmeg. The taste delivers similar notes of prunes, roasted malts,brown sugar and then cinnamon and nutmeg like spiciness. Overall it comes across rather sweet and that sweetness builds with each ounce consumed. Not sure I get this one.
