Pours hazy golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma of pine resin. Taste has bitter floral notes, pine and cedar. Palate has slight earthy elements as well as intensely resinous hops. Good, not too drinkable.

12oz bottle pours with a clear pure gold body that supports a thin near white head. The modest aroma offers up thin floral hops and then faint citrus and malts. The taste delivers a blend of bitter floral and grapefruit like hoppiness riding above a bit of smooth sweet malts. Toward the finish a wafer thin pine hop resiny bitterness makes its way to the surface. Decent IPA but the bitter floral hops start to bug me after a few more sips.

Draft at a Potomac Nationals game. Poured a clear golden color with a creamy small white head. Aroma was light citrus notes, some herbal, spicy hop character. Flavor was similar, lots of malt notes, light grapefruit notes. Light pine notes.

From a can, labelled Honor IPA (Honor Brewing Co, Denver CO). I think this is the right one because it was the same label on my can as the one pictured here. Interesting beer that I liked a lot at first sip but by the end I didn’t really like it anymore. Initial aroma was bright citrus, floral. Flavor similar, more floral and a vague fruitiness. Bready malts gave it a semi-sweet finish with a complimentary wack of bitterness. But halfway through the glass, it got a little grassy, unbalanced.

64oz growler I picked up at Oakton Wine Shop pours a mostly clear orange, a bit of hazy maybe with some lacing, foamy, bright white head. Nose has a lot of orange and grapefruit, some soap, some pine, a little bit of sticky dried OJ, some malt. The flavor has a crackery note to it, a little honey as well, but the hops are the focus, some lemon lime soda, grapefruit, orange, tangerine, pine. Crisp finish, not TOO bitter.
