Aroma has citrus, earthy notes and some peaches. Flavour has earthy notes, peaches, citrus, apricot and some grapefruits. Sweetish finish with peaches and urinal cake. No signs of high ABV at start, but it starts to wrm my throat after some sips. More like (farmhouse) saison or belgian strong - and a good one! Becomes a bit stuffy and sticky towards the end of the glass.

Dan Browns 3000th rate. Christmas present from Cunningham. 500ml bottle. Pours an opaque orange with a small head. Aroma is subtle, wheaty, banana and a touch if grass. Taste is much like a impy hefe, wheat, banana, touch of alcohol in the finish.

Draught at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Golden/orange colour with small white head. Aroma and flavour are malts, grass and fruits. Fruits dominate. Quite sour and alcohol is nicely hidden.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a white head. Has a fruity malty grainy aroma with hoppy hints. Sweetish malty grainy grassy hoppy flavor. has a sweetish malty grainy hoppy finish.

(Draught at Pikkulintu, 20121019) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness, grass and malts. Palate was medium bodied and dryish with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, fruitiness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. The fruity flavours and scents were quite dominating but were nicely balanced with grassy hops and strong enough bitterness. Alcohol was well hidden.

50 cl bottle at Dahlberg. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is grassy and light citrusy. Sweet, frui and light sugarish. Mild bitter and vague spiced to light biscuity malty. Bitter and light herbal finish.

Sample at SBWF 2012. Almost clear golden with a white head. sweet aroma and taste of yeast, lemon, malt and some grass. Not a "traditional" Pilsner this one. A bit strange to be honest and way too sweet.

500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 9.5%. 37 IBU. Hazy golden colour, some sediment, small white head. Unusual aroma, grassy hops mixed with sweetish floral and fruity notes and raw alcohol. The flavour is sweet (too sweet) and sugary, with grassy hops and plenty alcohol. Whatever Nøgne Ø planned to do here (I am not sure if they know), they were not very successful. Sure, the Python is drinkable, but seems unbalanced, and Nøgne Ø have many better beers than this.

Bottle (Stockholm Beer Festival 2012) - Amber with a haze. Yeast, peach and lemon in the aroma. Lemon, grapefruit and malt all feature in the grassy and slightly sweet taste.

Pours hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat, allcohol, yeast and fruits. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long fruity, yeasty and boozy finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
