50cl bottle from the factory. Pale yellow beer, clear, with a big bubbly snow white head, reducing to a good lace. Soft nose of grass and hops. Aroma is definitely hoppy, grassy, strawy with a modest malt\grains part. Has an interesting green tea flavour on the good side, some soapy hints on the bad. Maybe a feel of ginger? Finish is dry and sharply bitter, leading to a teabag-like harshness. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation. Fresh and "green", lots in common with the Pilsener style in the herb tones while weaker on the malts, but also reminds an IPA for it’s spicy aftertaste. Good idea, i’ll try to put some rice in the mash to make it more smooth, this it a bit sharp, but may have it’s match with sushi, wasabi etc. So well then... kanpai!
