In Berlin, you get a lot of graffiti…most of it forgettable. But one fateful day, we discovered some memorable, thought-provoking tags on our BrewPub. One said “Lesgoo”. We are not sure if that is the artist’s name, Mister “Lester Goo.” Maybe, he just does not like slime and therefore is calling for everyone to demand “less goo:” Or perhaps, he is running late and is ready to get everyone moving: “Let’s Gooooo!”

Underneath, in a different script, was a second tag, “Pip.” Our thoughts immediately turned to an orphan penned by Charles Dickens, but in the Berlin tech scene, one can’t rule out a Python developer, who moonlights as a graffiti artist. Regardless of what it means, “Lesgoo Pip!” has a nice ring to it.

We know our customers have great expectations, so we went all-in with the double dry hop of Citra and El Dorado on our newest Hazy IPA. All we ask is that you show some enthusiasm whenever you order, even if you don’t know what it means, or how to pronounce it. Just say whatever you feel as loud as you can and we’ll keep the haze coming.

330ml bottle. Murky, yellow-ish, golden colour with small to average, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Juicy, tropical fruity and slightly piney, minimally leafy, hoppy aroma, notes of woody pineapple, passion fruit, a touch of vanilla, vanilla ice cream. Taste is dry, tropical fruity, slightly piney hoppy, notes of woody pineapple, passion fruit, dry, oaty malty basis; peppery spicy, yeasty overtones in the finish. Slightly creamy texture, smooth and dry palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Quite dry, a bit monotonous, restricted quantity of fruity hop flavours - OK.
