Brown colour, rocky white head. Aroma is fig, redcurrant, dark roasted malt, slightly burned, some juniper. Light bitterness. Medium body. Good, but not exactly in style.

500ml bottle. Cloudy, reddish-brown colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Rather weak, toasty, minimally bready malty and floral-fruity, hoppy aroma, a touch of yellow apple, baked apple, dried fruit, berries, brown bread, sultana, banana. Taste is toasty, bready malty, slightly grassy and fruity hoppy, minimally sweet caramel malty, a touch of dried fruit, berries, woody yellow apple, sultana. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium, soft, minimally prickly carbonation. Relatively rich and manifold, but a bit anaemic - nice.
