Pink coloured body with a off-white head - crazy looking. Aroma of apples, caster sugar, yeast and a bit more apple and pear notes - very nice. Light-bodied; Fresh fruit flavours with a bit of alcohol noticeable, but basically just caster sugar and fresh fruit notes. Aftertaste shows a bit of citrus notes, but mainly sweetness with a hint of alcohol and of course - a lot of sugars. Overall, a decent beer, that is very fresh tasting, all with some nice sweetness - great to drink in the heat! I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased at Addo Rest Camp in Addo, Eastern Cape, South Africa on 28-December-2011 purchased earlier in the day.

(Bottle 34 cl) Pours a clear pink with a rough and bubbly, pinkish head. Lightly astringent, tart nose with berry-like accents. Medium-bodied with sweet apple notes and again something which reminds me of berries although none are added. Somewhat astringent finish. 030508
