Draught @ Bryggeriet Apollo, Vesterbrogade 3, 1620 Copenhagen, Denmark.Clear dark red brown colour with a average to large, creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate. Flavour is moderate sweet, light light acidic and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, light tart cherries, dark chocolate finish, chocolate bitter finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130523]

Chestnut colour with a firm and lasting off-white head. Malty aroma of toffee and milk chocolate. Sweetish malty flavour with chocolate and toffee and a hint of harder roasted notes

Draught@Apollo, Copenhagen. Deep ambery brown colour, mediumsized creamy brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, toffee, sweet cherries and quite pleasant overall. Flavour is cherries, liquorice, mild toast as well as some ashy and bitter notes as well. Quite dry palate.

250ml on tap at the brewpub. Fawn-coloured head. A deep rustic shade to a black coloured body. Milk chocolate to the nose. Chocolate malty taste with a cherry on the top. Slightly roasted, mid-sweet aftertaste. Creamy in the mouth. Half way pleasing (Copenhagen 26.05.2013).

Draft. A red-brown beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and cherries. The flavor is sweet with an acidic edge and notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and cherries, leading to a dry finish.

From tap at the brewpub, Apollo rate #100 (hooray for me....or something). Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted dark malty, breadish and dark chocolate. Roasted malty, smooth breadish and dark chocolate. Light bitter. Just vague cherry fruity. Way more dry, roasted and bitter than cherry. Mild building simple cherry fruity into the far finish.
