Bottled. An unclear orange-brown beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is very smoked with light notes of bacon and an acidic edge from the smoked malt, as well as a note of caramel. The flavor is sweet smokey giving it notes of tar and rope, leading to a dry smokey finish.

Cloudy amber color. Very nice smoked aroma. The smoked flavor is excellent, it would be better with a stronger body, with more malt. The final is quite long, but also here the malt is missing. Pleasant. Thanks Jacob for bringing this back, at the price that only a few know you had to pay.

Sample from 50 cL bottle. Pours deep orange to brown. Aroma is a lovely smoke note. Flavour is dry and smoked. Light feel but the flavour fills it all. Good soft smoke finish. "Too simple", lacks some complexity, but a refreshing smoked beer.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Hildigöltur. Very hazy, orange amber with a beige head. Distinct, baconish smoke aroma. Medium-bodied with sweetish caramel notes and then again distinct bacon in the flavour. Some acidity - almost no bitterness. Quite yummy. 230407
