Bottled. A slightly hazy deep red beer with a medium bubbly orange head. The aroma is sweet malty, but also with a hint of acidity (brewing flaw or bottling flaw?), as well as notes of berries. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, berries, bread, and some herbs with a light underlying acidity - something is not 100% right. The body is quit light for a bock.

Sample from 50 cL bottle. Pours amber with huge creamy white head. Aroma of sweetness and a good soft bitterness. Finish is a subdued bitterness .

(Bottle 70 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Slightly hazy amber golden with a tall, dense, off-white head. Light aroma of caramel. Medium body, lightly burned caramel and a fairly hoppy finish. Drinkable but not exactly what I’d call an Easter Brew. 240407
