Cask at Monks Retreat, Reading. Sampled March 2015. Pours light hazed gold with a slim white cap. Aroma: biscuit malts, caramel, fruity. Taste: light sweet & moderate bitter, malt, biscuit, light hoppy. Medium body with light carbonation. OK

Cask (handpump) @ Craft Beer Co - Brixton, 11-13 Brixton Station Road, Brixton, Greater London, England SW9 8PD.Clear medium yellow amber colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, wood, toffee, cork. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, woody, sweet malt, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130118]

Cask at the Craft, Brixton, 18/01/13, split with Chris, Jan and Charlotte. Very lightly hazed mid golden with a thin white head. Nose carries light hops, caramel, biscuit, fruit. Taste comprises bitter tones, leafy hops, pale malt, biscuit, sweat, some wood. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, some bitterness in the finish. More ESB than single hop !
