Bottle at Lady Greys, Newcastle. It pours golden yellow with a small white head. The nose is sweet dough, brioche, madelines, grass, sugar and spice. The taste is doughy, grassy, icing sugar, light bitterness and candied orange with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty decent. Very good for the style anyways.

Bright amber beer, tidy white head. Palate is light, slightly soft but then turns crisper. Creamy malt, very light and quite sweet. Minerals. Trace of sweetish hops - mild orange and tinned peach syrup. Finishes crispy. Not bad but I like my lagers a bit less flabby.

Bottle 33 cl. Bottle says "Brew Star", not sure why this isn’t listed in the title here? Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Medium body, sweet malts, rather soft mouthfeel, some neat flowery accents and a little heat in the finish. No real bitterness though. 070413
