bottle at home ... amber ... thin white head ... soft dry toffee nose ... bitter front ... something a little medicinal ... oily ... not for me.

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with huge, frothy, lasting, white head. Slightly grainy aroma, intense citrussy and grassy hop overtones. Taste is slightly fruity, citrussy and bitter hoppy; lasting bitter hoppy finish. Refreshing, light, citrussy - nice.

Aroma: Lemon, hay, freshly cut vegetables and pine. Quite a light aroma.
Appearance: Pale golden body with lots of floating yeast flecks. Bubbly white head with gorgeous sticky lacing.
Taste: Subtle flavours of citrus and vegetables. Crisp, bitter finish.
Palate: Thin body with a watery mouthfeel. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Simple and easy drinking - not quite as hoppy as I thought it might be. The bottle said 4.1% ABV. Would like to try the cask version, as it sounds like it might be tastier.
