Draught @ CBC 2013 [ Blue Session ]. - Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013, Sparta Hallen, Gunnar Nu Hansens Plads 11, 2100 Copenhagen, DenmarkUnclear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, funky, light roasted, dusty coffee notes, light leather. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration, earthy, roasted, dark malt, dusty notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130504]

CBC. Tired rating! Opaque black beer, good pale tan head. Light dry palate. Minerals. Some dark chocolate. Doesn’t seem very amber like!

From tap. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is fruity and mild citric. Mild metallic and toasted malty. Bitter and metallic. Light malty roasted. Dry and breadish finish.

CBC. Almost black with a light brown head. Aroma isw sweet, malty and roasted malt. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. A bit thin. 040513

Draft. A black beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, bread, and caramel, leading to a dry finish. The body is light.

Sample at CBC 2013, Saturday. Almost black with a small tan head. Malt, some light spices, light fruit. Medium bitter and with a soft body. An ok beer but nothing sensational.

Sample @ CBC. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, coffee, chillies and lactose sugar.
