The taste delivers sweet dark fruity esters in the form of plums, dates and raisins. It then quickly brings up sweetened dark roasted malts, a sense of reduced sugars and chocolate infused with booze. To midway the barrel character bubbles to the surface creating another depth of goodness. This really comes together nicely. Great sipper.
